SINCE 1983, Troy Baker worked in construction, getting his start with Pratt Construction, a custom home builder in San Diego. As “the newbie,” Troy started at the bottom, learning the business from the ground up. During these early years, Troy discovered a fondness for woodworking, framing and finish work. 

It was during his 15 years at Pratt that Troy had the good fortune to apprentice under several seasoned carpenters.  These mentors helped Troy develop a keen attention to detail, the value of being punctual, and always producing work of which you can be proud.

In 1997 Troy relocated to Hartford City, Indiana, with his family and immediately started his own business, Baker Construction. Since that time Troy’s reputation for quality has continued to grow; he now works strictly by referral. Troy has completed homes, room additions, exterior structures and a variety of renovations and custom carpentry work.

Troy now operates Troy Baker Carpentry from Indianapolis as a home base, enabling him to serve most of Central Indiana quickly and efficiently.
